She was a great inspiration to me. I hope to someday live as simply and in touch with God's creation as she did. http://www.tashatudor.legacy.com/LMW/HomePage.aspx

me, too, Michelle. I love her work. I have a large book with lots of photos (maybe The World of Tasha Tudor?) that is a joy to look at. She was a special lady.

Oh, no! I know she was very old, but what a loss.

I have loved Tasha Tudor since I was a little girl.

I receive the Sparrow Post from her farm and was so saddened to hear about her passing.

I have plans to buy a corgi pup and name her Tasha. :)

Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that. She led such an interesting life filled with quiet beauty. She will be missed.

What a lovely woman. She is my mom's favorite illustrator and I have quite a few books of hers. I remember going to an exhibit of her art and they had wonderful stories of her life on video. She was fascinating! So simple and sweet.

Oh, Oh, Oh. How sad. She was such a wonderful lady. I have this book too, and I love the way it shows how simply she lived. It seems like she should have been living in an earlier century. What a legacy she has left, though. Her beautiful books and illustrations will live on.

Two of my favorite children's books in my home are her illustrated Psalm 23 and Lord's Prayer books. She lived a very full life, but it is still a loss nonetheless.

Thanks for letting us know - I adore her artwork. We have a raggedy copy of "A is for Annabelle." She, and her dolls, will be missed.
