Husband. Kids. Rentals. Toilets. One car. More than one activity. Misunderstandings. Days till we leave on vacation. One car. FIL fragile. House not rented. Stuff not done.
Do I need to say more? I am in tears. Everyone's day is ruined. God, this sucks.

I'm so sorry. Somehow, it all gets done. I don't know how, but it does. Hang in there!

You are only one person. Do one thing at a time. Delegate what you can delegate. Let go of whatever does not absolutely HAVE to be done. Ask for help from someone -- a neighbor, a relative, a church member. Keep in mind that tomorrow is a new day, and it will be better than today has been. Hope this encouragement really encourages you -- that is, gives you courage.

Feeling a bit better already. Thank you.
Now, can anyone recommend a good book on parenting teens? One that Dads might find helpful?

(((Jennifer)))) we really do seem to be living in parallel universes lately. I was about to come an post the same question tonight. Teen boys + Dads = :smash::angry::crying:
I wish I had some answers for you, but tonight, I really don't. I do empathize if that helps at all. Where's half-way between FL and you? Let's run away!

I am so sorry, Jennifer. I wish I was closer and could give you an actual hug and a helping hand. (Can't help with the car, though. We only have one, also... and it's busted.)
(((Jennifer))) <--- this 'll have to do.
