Dh is headed that way next week for a job interview, and we know NOTHING about the area.

How is homeschoolling there? We've always lived in very hs friendly states, and PA has us nervous.

Judging from pics on the internet, it appears to be an economically depressed area. Does that sound accurate?

Thanks!

I am familiar with the Milton, PA region. Homeschooling in PA isn't that bad.

There is a co-op in the Lewisburg area and also one in the Williamsport area that are quite active.

It is accurate to say that Milton is economically depressed, though it is not far from Lewisburg which has a totally different feel. At one time Lewisburg was rated as one of the best small towns in America.
