Quick - I need a recommendation for an OB in VA . . .

D sister is pregnant - yeah!!!! And she lives in Staunton. Can anyone recommend a great doctor for her? Someone who will listen to her and be concerned about thyroid issues and the fact that she's 41, second pregnancy after a miscarriage 4 years ago.

Well, she's only about 45 minutes away from the University of Virginia Medical Center - one of the best hospitals in the country. It shouldn't be too hard to find a doctor there. She is also only about 30 minutes away from Harrisonburg's Rockingham Memorial Hospital. I don't know anyone who lives in those areas who would know though - sorry.

The only OBs I know are in the Arlington area. Jane Piness, Sandra Caskie and Margaret Loewith. Fabulous. But probably way too far away.

The UVa hospital in Charlottesville is excellent.
