What to memorize for American history covering Constitution - WWI?

This is for 6th grade DS. I've already selected the Preamble to the Constitution and the Gettysburg Address. Anything else? He memorizes easily.

The Ammendments to the Constitution
Chief Joseph's Speech
The Presidents of the time
The Monroe Doctrine or part of it
hmmm...
