Has anyone used: Word Roots (sw or bks)??

I'm trying to decide whether to use this or VfCR w/ my 7th and 8th graders next year. I know VfCR is used by some here but I haven't heard of anyone talking about Word Roots. CBD has it here: http://http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=2783702&event=CF#curr

I'm looking for something that they can do on their own with little help from me and yet still teach them how to determine the meaning of a word based on its prefix, suffix, and root.

If you have used it; did you use the books or the CDROM? I have seen the samples of the bks and cdrom, I'm just looking for reviews.... and if anyone can compare it to VfCR.

I love the software!!! I love not having to correct them, plus they get all the content. I love the fact that 1 of the software is less than 2 of the workbooks. I love love love it!!

We have used the software and loved it! I will be purchasing the next level. I think the very last level is only in book form, but I'm not really sure. I haven't looked at the books so, I can't be much help with that.
