Looking for free literatures study guides on-line

similar to Sparknotes but with a Christian perspective. Do you know of any?

Adam Andrews site has a free downloadable guide for The Bronze Bow (http://www.centerforlit.com/teacherguides.htm). I don't know of a Christian site that has lots like Sparknotes - wish I did.

I do know that Andrews's curriculum, Teaching the Classics, gives you a list of questions at the end of the syllabus that you can use with any book. I highly recommend his stuff.

I borrowed the dvd from a friend then purchased the book in Teaching the Classics used for a fraction of the cost. HTH

You might want to look at the free pdf guides available from Glencoe (http://www.glencoe.com/sec/literature/litlibrary/). These guides are more thorough than available Christian (i.e., Progeny Press) guides. Of the ones I've used, I’ve not found any obvious anti-Christian slant.



Beverly Schmidt has an excellent one on The Hobbit (http://www.lovetolearnplace.com/LitGuild/hobbitliteraryguildpage.html) which is from a Christian worldview and The Screwtape Letters (http://www.lovetolearnplace.com/LitGuild/Screwtape/index.html).
