What is the difference between My Pals are Here and i-Science? I have looked at the site and can't find a comparison. Which is better for serious science prep?

MPH and i-science are simply two sides of the same coin. They cover all the topics required for each grade level as required by the Singapore Ministry of Education.

MPH has more components/supplements to its program. I-science begins in the 1st grade while MPH doesn't start until the 3rd, but the kid really can pick up in the 3rd grade without any prior knowledge and do just fine. In fact, reading ability is probably the single most important skill.

Since both programs are developed to conform with the same syllubus you could easily use MPH 3rd grade tests with the i-science program, if you wish. Or likewise, in grades 4 and 5 you could use the MPH "higher order thinking skills" books which are quite good.
