Why would my fridge have puddles of water in it?
On the top shelf of our fridge I repeatedly have large puddles of water. I will sop it up in the morning and it is back by the next morning. Sometimes earlier.
There had not been any condensation on the interior of the fridge, though when looked at closely I did see A spot where there was a drop of water at the top.
(this is a freezer on top model, just so ya know)
We wondered if perhaps it was due to a recent adjustment of the temps. So we knocked things back down to where they were. Also wondered if it was from the watermelon..we slice it up, leave it in a bowl in the fridge, open. So we covered it. (hey, we were just trying to make ANY connection, the puddles didn't start until we started having the watermelon bowl in there)
Still puddles.
Any ideas what could be going on here?
I'm really getting tired of the (at least) daily sopping up of water. Even worse when it's not noticed right away or a child bumps it and it then splashes down behind the shelf and to the bottom of the fridge, which requires me to remove the bins and shelves to clean up THOSE puddles.
