Duh. I leave them out in the garage during the winter because most of the time it keeps them nice and chilly (sometimes they are a bit thicker than normal but they still work fine for baking and scrambling and such.) My husband just brought them in to show me that they don't so much appreciate being in the garage during bone snapping cold spells. Each and every one of them is cracked.
This will go down as a major "DUH!" moment.

That's a bummer. Eggs are expensive right now.

Yesterday I bought a dozen (yes, just a dozen, so it's not quite so painful) of organic eggs. As I reached for them on the counter to put them in the fridge, my hand slipped and I dropped them on the ceramic tile floor. All but 4 completely smashed. Until yesterday, I had never dropped one egg.
I wasn't very happy, but at least it was only 8 eggs, right? AND, it wasn't the eggs I usually buy which are $5/doz. That, I would have choked on.
Sorry for your eggs loss!

Ya think they would still be good after being frozen completely solid? I'm wondering... Not too sure. They have now thawed out and are oozing everywhere in the carton (cause I brought them inside.) I think it's a total loss. The dog has enjoyed a few of them though! LOL :p

eh-- I woulda kept them and tried them in scrambled eggs or tacos. But adding some extra protein to the dog's diet is good too, lol.
