Anyone used this? I just bought it for my soon-to-be ninth grader. But after looking it over, it seems way too advanced for him. It's supposed to be for middle school or early high school. What's your perception of an appropriate level for it?

I actually have it for sale--didn't really like it very much, but mostly because I wanted to stick to the four-year rotation. I don't think it's particularly challenging, I just think it's not particularly well-written. Instruction that is confusing can seem to be too advanced when it's really just poorly communicated. IMO, of course.

It scares the heck out of me, personally, but it is what her writing co-op teacher had chosen this year. It does look very good, but it looks intimidating to me. I did love everything he had to say at our home school convention this year and I am in agreement with many of his ideas. But once I got my hands on the actual curriculum, I must say, I am glad I am not the one asking her for that much work. (I know, cowardly, but I already demand a great deal so better her than me. ):001_smile:
