I had my subscriptions nicely put in folders and now they are showing up as "new subscriptions" whenever I click on the user control panel. I think they are showing up because new posts have been posted, but it never use to be set up that way. Why the change? I don't like it. It screws me up and cuases more work to organize them again. AND...why are we no longer automatically tagged as 'subscribed to" when we reply to a post. It's hard to keep track of what I have posted to. anyone else experiencing this? anyway to fix it?

I haven't been using folders -- no idea how that even works, to tell the truth, or why I'd use them (maybe you can enlighten?). But, I am struggling a little with making the subscribe feature feel useful. I have a number of threads still showing up as unread (bold type), even though I've tried to go back to and read through them by clicking on the thread starter. I can't figure out how to get these from showing up as unread. FWIW, I am still seeing the "check mark" that denotes that I am subscribed to various thread (for me, it's the ones in which I've posted...is that how everyone uses this feature?).

I think, for me, it's mostly lack of understanding how to use the feature at all rather than a change in its characteristics, as seems to be the case for you. But, I'm not sure.
