Has anyone out there found a dry erase eraser that doesn't make a mess?? I love using my dry erase board but the eraser requires a clean up after each board erase. They always start leaving a bunch of that black dust behind after only one or two uses.

Is there anything better out there?

Thanks!

I don't know that it is necessarily better with regards to the dust issue, but I have been using a Magic Eraser, and it seems to erase better for me than most of the dry erase erasers I have tried. And it is pretty easy to rinse out when needed.

Magic eraser? Really? I would have been concerned it would have messed up the board. If it's working for you, I'll be glad to give it a try. Thanks!

We bought some wet wipes that are for dry erase boards.
We bought them when they had school supplies out.
We found them at Walmart, not sure if Staples or some other place would have them or not..

Hope you find something that works for you :)

then I just toss the wash clothes in with the towels when I wash them. The coarse texture seems to capture the black flecks better.

I also like to use microfiber towels. I found some nice ones at Home Depot in a 4 pack for maybe $8. I also have a few from the dollar store that work just as good. I don't think these will last as long as they aren't as dense. I don't put my microfibers in with the regular towels though, so I save them all up and wash with jeans.

I also periodically wash my white board with glass cleaner. I spray it and let it sit for a minute. This really helps to loosen the old speck of black off.

We use everything. Kleenex, towels, everything.

Be careful using glass cleaner with ammonia. It will actually set the marker. Don't ask me how I know this. Rubbing alcohol or fingernail polish remover will work fine.

I use all those odd socks that collect around my house. I occasssionally clean the board off with some alcohol on the sock and toss it in the garbage. I never seem to be lacking in socks and the kids can put them on their hands and do the job themselves.

Iv used anything from wet whipes, socks, papertowels, reg chalkboard eraser, and dry eraser board eraser, i also spray socks with dry eraser board liquid and eye glass cleaner,
I personally like Eye glass spray to clean it up :)

My mom just bought one made by Tul:

that is awesome! It's even cleaning up the dust left from other erasers.
