Classical Roots

My daughter is going to finish Spelling Workout this year and I have some copies of Classical Roots for next year. I have 2 questions:

1-has anyone found something they like better than Classical Roots?
2-How have you used it--ie, what does your weekly lesson look like?

But for question #2, I can say I'm planning to use VfCR (I assume that's the series you mean??) as outlined in WTM. We are going to try and start in grade 5 next year and see how it goes....by taking two weeks to do one lesson.
