Has anyone stayed at either the Double Tree or The Regal Sun in Downtown Disney? My SIL and family will be on vacation at Disney next month...we always drive over there and spend a few nights in an off-site hotel. However, I have discovered some great FL resident deals at Disney hotels. There are pros and cons for each:
DT: suite (larger room, microwave, frig), pool not as exciting as other hotel, $5 parking fee
RS: typical hotel room, frig only, fun pool, free parking
Now, my DH would prefer the larger room for the extra money...and, it's not that much more. I'm just wondering if it's really worth it. It probably it...with 5 people in our family!
Any opinions on the two hotels?
