So far I have jicima, apple, mango, and cilantro. Dh is bringing me some limes to add. Anything else? Garlic? or skip garlic? Any other herbs? cumin? I am going to stick my head in the fridge to see if I have a hot pepper, if not, I have cayenne powder, I can add a bit of that.
Thoughts?

Come on ladies, someone has to have an idea for this salsa to make it pop! I am serving it with a kolbi-style marinated pork loin, roasted carrots and fennel, and rice. Now do you have any ideas? Please?

Everyone's watching House! It's on commercial so I'm popping in. Sounds yummy, I'd add a dash of chili powder or cayenne. Also, a dash of salt may bring out the sweetness in the apple and mango.

I definitely wouldn't add garlic. Yes, to a dash of cayenne or a little chopped jalapeno or serrano. I might also consider just a wee bit of red onion. Not much, but just enough to break up the sweetness and to play with the salt.
Sounds yummy though.
Are you putting it on top of something special?
Never mind that last part. I'm editing this to say that I had obviously skimmed over the part about the roast pork loin. Sounds absolutely scrumptious!!!

I'd add some cayenne and maybe just a touch of garlic. Sounds yummy.

House! Well that explains the lull in posting! Those of us without tellies had no clue! Thanks for the ideas. Have to avoid the onion due to allergies, added just barely a tich of garlic, and a tiny bit of salt. Called dh, and he is bringing me a serano. Thanks, ladies!

I never skip garlic if I can help it. I was thinking, when I read your list of ingreds, that it seemed a bit on the sweet side. The jicama is crunchy but does it have much of its own flavor to counter the sweetness of the fruits?
Worthy of consideration - but of course it comes down to what you love most:
A dash of salt
Definitely something perky, like fresh hot pepper or tabasco.
red onion or scallion
orange juice
black beans
Sounds yummy!!

I would mix a little lime, honey and apple cider vinegar. I'd probably also add some red onion.
