What is this like? I have not seen any sample pages anywhere to get a feel for it.
Thanks!

I got it this summer to use along with the VP Narnia lit guide. It has 56 pages of projects. Many are drawing, but there are sculpting and other types of projects as well. It brings in creativity, artists (Escher, etc.), costuming, color theory, all sorts of things. It's definitely more artsy than crafty, if that makes sense. For instance, on a projects about the Professor's house, you talk about foreground and background. A younger child could participate with guidance, but really it's better with say 3rd grade up. My dd (age 8) is a great age to begin enjoying them, and an older dc could definitely get into the projects and run with them.
Sharon Jeffus teaches a lot of art classes, so the materials are compilations of projects she has done with kids for classes, etc. It's definitely meant to be art though (projects drawing in art terms, color theory, etc.), not crafts, if that makes sense. You could use the ideas as a springboard and make it more crafty with younger kids (make crowns, make armour, etc.).

I'm glad I found this post because I had wanted to get it, though it looked way to crafty from the sample available. I'm glad to hear it's not that way.
