Any Accountable Kids users out there? I have a few questions...

Okay, I'm about ready to purchase the book and wondered if this program would help us w/ disciplinary issues as well as keep our chores organized? We have challenges w/ both. We used Handipoints for chores and the dc loved it, but it was a pain for me to use. Accountable Kids looks simple but is it really? I NEED simple...real simple. No charts to fill out and keep track of and rotate. I need a program that has some sort of disciplinary "actions" built-in so I don't have to get creative and think of punishments/rewards. I'm just not good at the consistency on my own and need some "hand holding". Having some sort of built-in reward/punishment system will really help to alleviate my frustration and anger, KWIM? So, anybody have experiences with this program? Kay? Is this really the answer to my prayers? Oh...I'd make my own cards and NOT buy the kits b/c I just don't have the money to spend $25 for EACH kid! Yikes!

I wont tell you its an answer to prayers, but we do use it. Rylee needs it... she is the youngest, the baby and she has slid in some areas....

Its not time consuming at all. The only thing you do need to do, is make sure you reset all the cards each night or morning before the kids get up and be around for the younger kids to help in assuring they are doing their jobs/chores/tasks well.

It is simple, and yes I do feel it can help aid in responsibility and training... but its only as good as you are consistent. I guess thats with an "program"

RyLee is 11 and does well, but if I dont set those cards out... boy she lets me know *Ü* The only thing I dont add anymore is her school... I have a schedule already, so I dont place those cards in anymore. Just chores and extras....
