I changed their food after the SPCA supply ran out (gradually, of course), but for the last few days, they just kind of sniff at it when I put it down for them. I'm feeding them twice a day. It eventually all gets eaten -- a little now and a little later -- but I wonder:
Are they okay?
Do they not like the food?
Is it just too hot to eat? (the weather, I mean)
They are GULPING down water.

I could use a recommendation on water bowls. What holds a LOT of water but won't tip over? Daisy puts her feet in it when she's drinking!

We've been filling the baby wading pool on the patio and watching them play. They love being all wet!

Some dogs are snackers. Mine is like that. My previous dog would gulp down every last morsel in 5 seconds flat. I would say as long as they are eating it is not a worry.

As for the water dish, get one that has a wide base and tapers up. They are available in many sizes and come in stainless steel or plastic.

Stainless steel is best. A nice wide bottom one.
We just got a 5 quart one for the deck because our Lab pup (7mos) is always guzzling water.
You can get them with plastic rims that keep them from sliding too. I've found the best prices at our Tractor Supply store - the pet store is way expensive for the same bowls.:)
