Math: has anybody heard of Derek Owens Math Classes?

I stumbled upon these this morning as I was trawling the web. The online classes look pretty appealing (Mr. Owens uses texts well-loved by our group-- Dolciani, Jacobs, etc.).

Has anyone here used these (or even heard of them)?

Some ladies from a local co-op speak highly of his classes.
I have emailed him to ask questions and he responds quickly and was very helpful.
His distance learning class is appealing because you can start whenever you want, and he grades all the work;co-ops I have looked into for math require the parent to grade work.
We're still deciding what to do...

Sophia, thank you very much for the response. I just finished emailing Mr. Owens. The more we look at his courses, the more we like what we see. If his courses can be used to meet NCAA eligibility requirements, I think we may have a winner! :hurray:
