My dd told me that for her birthday she wants "one of those butterfly houses with a pop-up cardboard tree inside, where you can watch caterpillars turn into butterflies."
Ummm...anyone know what she means about a pop-up tree? Is there a particular brand that has that?
Her birthday is coming soon.
Thanks!

found a few places to buy the caterpillars and the butterfly house, but nothing with a tree. some friends have one and i know when the butterflies come out you are supposed to feed them flowers soaked in sugar water. good luck. it is a cute idea.

The website www.insectlore.com . I used to order butterfly kits from their catalog.
We own the butterfly pavilion...I like it because it's reusable, and it doesn't require much room to store it in between uses.
I wonder if this is it? My son has been asking for one of these since he saw their commercial. They call it a butterfly treehouse.

We're doing this right now and ordered through insect lore.

The opening seems to be a better design than the straight zipper opening on the "pavilion" that we got a few years ago.
