I've got a couple of Prentice Hall Explorer Science books but I don't have teacher's manuals. I don't like not having an answer key. I'm thinking of purchasing Sonlight Science 6 for my ds11 because I like the student activity sheets and usborne books.
Any other Science programs, not creation based please, that have a similar format?
Hi Beth,
I got my Prentice Hall All In One Teaching Resource cheap at Amazon Marketplace? Why not just get the key for the P-H? ALso, the Lab Zone Planner is wonderful and has labs for all the books with teaching notes, discussin questions, and worksheets.

the Ph website for quizzes - go to your book then click on the chapter then on the left sidebar click "self-test"

We use the Calvert School manuals, answer keys and tests with PH science. I got them CHEAP for grades 7 & 8 to use only for science.

Galore Park Science does not have work sheets but does have exercises at the end of each section. I think they are a great mix of review and thinking exercises. Dd12 is using SYRWTLS 2. It covers Bio/Chem/Phy in one year. So far she actually looks forward to it, and this is not my science kid. I also got The Elements after reading Lorna's blog all year. It's one of a number of unit studies that look awesome. http://ellenjmchenry.com/id98.html
