Where did this expression come from and why is DS 10 saying it?
I have heard it many times but he used it in the right context the other day and I just laughed.
But I was also slightly annoyed.

I'm not sure but I always think of someone with a drink in their hand when it is said.

I've seen it used in several SNL sketches such as the delicious dish and the cheerleaders.

I always associate it with Karen Walker from Will & Grace. http://209.85.48.9/10222/92/emo/whatwhat.gif

I somehow always relate that saying to Jack Nickolson's line in As Good as it Gets--
"Good times and noodle salad." --although I know they aren't related.:tongue_smilie:

I remember it from Delicious Dish on SNL. I am at the library so I can't link the youtube video, but my favorite episode was with Alec Baldwin. His last name in the skit was Schwetty and he made desert balls. He called them his Schwetty Balls. :D

I've been using that expression for the better part of 20 years. No clue where I picked it up, though...

I heard that phrase recently when my dc were watching an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. I think it was Squidward who said it. The writers must have recycled it from SNL.
