What happened to My World Science?

I may be mistaken, but I thought Ria posted a few months ago that she was re-writing/updating them?? Surely someone on the board knows. I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention. :)

I thought what she said was that they needed to be updated, but she didn't have time to do it. But that may be wrong.

Yes, Ria is very busy teaching two classes at a local co-op and her own children and does not have the time to update the manuals. Some of the links are outdated and one book is now oop. Therefore she ceased operations, rather than continuing on. Rainbow Resources did purchase the rest of her stock, so you can still buy her materials until they run out.

needed updated as some of the links she references and books she uses as required resources have gone out of print, which means she'd have to rewrite portions of MWS. Right now she is busy with her family and doesn't have the time to invest in MWS. She originally wrote the program in her search for a science program that met her goals with her six children and also used it for teaching at a co-op.

Rainbow Resources has bought the remaining quanities and you can still purchase the OOP books used on Amazon. You can also sometimes find MWS units used.

I purchased all of the units last year (and supplies to go with them) so we could pick what unit we wanted to explore next. We are now on our 3rd unit and really have enjoyed her program.
