It looks far more in depth and difficult than the MPH 6 which dd is completing this week. She is technically finishing 5th grade....we brought her home from school mid-year and rather than go back and start a 5th grade level jumped into 6th grade science. Next year, while technically a 6th grader, I am thinking of just calling her a 7th grader and skipping 6th grade. Science is my one uncertainty....
anyone out there use Singapore for 7th grade? Anyone?

Mmmm, that's not so much a jump as a quantum leap. It's an intense critical thinking program. It's wonderful -- don't get me wrong -- but unless you know she can probably handle the equivalent of Singapore NEM (math), I wouldn't go there. My dd, who did ok with it in 7th, simply could not have managed it in 6th. There was a shift in understanding and ability with this program.
I'm all for calling her a 7th grader and using a 7th grade program -- but not this one. IMO, you have to consider that the typical Singapore 1st grader is not six years old, but seven. So there's a whole 'nother year of analytical maturity to consider.

That is what I feared, after looking at the program on-line. What to do, what to do. DD will be 12 next year - 13 in May. I just can not quite see her doing the Singapore 7.

How about a couple of Jason Projects (http://www.jason.org/public/home.aspx)?
I always wanted to do one or more, but we never quite got around to it.
