My toddler loves to draw. Loves it. Loves, loves, loves it.

Today he expressed himself by writing all over our white cabinets with ballpoint pen. Any ideas? The cabinets are not wood or paint...they are some kind of laminate from Ikea. I tried a very old Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It did start to get some off but I was having to scrub very hard and it took about 20 minutes to get one small bit off. With the amount he drew it would take me 6-7 hours to get it all off....there must be an easier way.

Any ideas?

I was going to suggest a Mr. Clean eraser so maybe try a new one. It has taken ball point pen off walls, simulated leather chairs and other items for me. Good luck!

Alice, try some peanut butter. Rub it in good and hard. Not sure if it's easier, but it works on some things.

Oooh, very interesting Pam. I actually Googled it and ended finding a solution. Toothpaste! It worked great. And now I have minty-fresh cabinets. :D I'll have to remember the peanut butter for future episodes.

Toothpaste -- even better! Sparkling white, and you don't have to smell the lingering odor of peanuts for a week!
