talk me out of this. I do not need another horse. I do not need a stallion! I REALLY do not need a stallion. Isn't he gorgeous?

He is lovely. Flashy and young. Love that pretty head and short back.
You don't need him. Just print up a poster of him and drool over him every day...like a teen girl over a heart-throb.
Sigh. If you buy him, I can enjoy him through your posts.

Why don't you buy him so I can keep up with him? Think what experience you'll get starting him.

YES, my girls have been wondering WHY we can't have that 2 year old stallion the lady contacted me with last week.
We have had a LOT of interesting discussions lately about STALLIONS and their "jobs" and why we don't want one.
Why don't you buy him so I can keep up with him? Think what experience you'll get starting him.

As easy as it is to take pictures these days, you'd think they could take another one!
Yes, he's lovely. No, you don't want him. Don't I remember you saying you're getting out of the breeding business?

You don't want a stallion. At least I don't want a stallion. I am SURE though that very young stallions (esp. 2-4 year olds) fall in the dead broke, bombproof, confidence builder category for a timid beginning rider, RIGHT?
He looks younger than 4 in the picture.

Proof that Ivan is not an Arabian. That is typical Arabian tail- set.

Andalusians do have low tail sets. When Ivan's is up, I know I'm in deep trouble. (He's WAY worked up.)
But I think that horse is pooping.

at least they got the picture before it hit the ground.
Dh didn't exactly forbid me, but he laughed so hard I can guess what he was thinking...... "Should we trade a kid-broke Arabian mare that is finally pulling her weight around here for a young, unridable STALLION that would happily provide us with MORE horses and try to kill our geldings??? I think not!"

...My SIL's gelding who thinks he's a stallion is enough for me!
Dang, even my little mini yearling who is currently intact (we're waiting for one side to descend, still) is enough of a handful.
Ok, I did my part... now... are you serious about breeding again?

Your dh sounds like a wise man!
