How are we different?

Bud gave me this little set of cards with conversation starters printed on them for Christmas, it's called Table Topics. It's been a fun little game at dinner each night.

Today the question was "How is your family different than others, and does that bother you?"

My kids answer? We're not different. :confused:

Our mouths dropped to the floor! Bud asked them, "What about something that rhymes with dome pool?" Blank stares. Then, "What about something that rhymes with dome lurch?" Then they finally got it. I almost didn't want to tell them, since they never seemed to notice that we were different than the 18 kids who start knocking on our door at 3:30 every afternoon! :rolleyes:

I think it's cool that they realize they are not that different from the other families. To me homeschool and church do not a different family make. Love, respect, play - these are common threads in all healthy families and I guess your kids look deep. Congratulations on that accomplishment.

recognize how different you are.

If you were to put them in ps the would find out really quickly. Mine surely are.
