Homeschoolers buyer co-op has it down to about $50. Has anyone used it personally? I would love opinions, especially on the mapping abilities.

I just downloaded the 7 day free trial version. Pretty cool software.

Karen, does it have it's own clip-art and graphics? I'm downloading the free trial now, but wondered if you knew if all those cool graphics (like those on the examples) are built-in to the software or do you have to import your own? Do you also happen to know if you can type info into the forms (like the planning forms) or do you have to print and fill in by hand? Do you KWIM? That might be a deal breaker for me. I know with Adobe PDF's you can only read them, not write on them unless you have the full version which I don't. Just curious! Thanks.

I bought this a few months ago and played with it a little then but not so much since but here is what I found out.
Yes, everything in those samples is already in the program, and much more, tons of different clip art. You can print out pages as they are or go in and edit all the forms, change stuff, and create your own. You could save the file as a new file and type things into the form, I guess it depends how you want to use it. For example, for the reading log I customized the text but then printed it out for ds to record his reading each day by hand. But if you wanted to keep typing things into the form say day by day it would make more sense to use Word or Excel for that.
I haven't worked much with the maps, there are a lot in thee. When I just played with it, I saw that you can use Google maps to import new custom maps, either road maps or satellite images.
