can anyone tell me how different the 1st edition of Apologia Physical science is from

the 2nd? Is there a reason I shouldn't buy the 1st edition used?

I did ask about it last year at convention. I was told that you can't use both at the same time. (Yeah, that makes a lot of sense!) Let me try again. If you are going to use it in a co-op setting, everyone needs the same book.

I'm sure if you will be using it alone at home, there is no reason to buy the new one. OH! I just remembered at convention last year they did say that the new edition would tell you when to look at the companion cd. I don't remember being told of any other differences. Obviously there are some as you can't use old and new books at a co-op.

at the cd either (we always seem to forget to look at it).. unless I'm missing that somewhere. LOL..

There is a little picture of a hand holding a CD in the top left-hand corner of the figure box. I think the CD will expand on the topic illustrated in the book.
