My weekly report (http://onemomsfunjourney.blogspot.com/2008/05/progress-report.html) includes a sensory modulation activity we've been doing, a recap of science activities we did, and reading progress.

(Notice the scab in the middle of his forehead? Please pray that he stops picking it. He continues to pick at what was once a small, insignificant surface scratch. He now has a hole 1/4" wide. Last time this happened, it was two and a half months before it healed. He still has a huge scar from it. Thank you.)

Oh, owie! I will pray for fast healing and no more picking! My dd is suffering through a bad bout of poison ivy right now and just will NOT stop scratching - I can relate!

I'm curious how the sucking applesauce through a straw helps with your son's speech problems - can you elaborate? My son has speech issues as well, mostly with artic at this point, and I have no idea if something like this could help him - but I'm willing to try anything that will allow him to "graduate" from ST sooner - and speak more clearly!

Looks like a good week!

Mine's up. Finally. It's actually been a really good week. All of our extracurriculars have ended and we're being very productive with all the time at home. I'm actually considering starting the school year in June and getting tons done in 3 months of summer (when it's too hot to do much else anyway) before our lives get busy again in the fall.
