we have an acme brick clay mining strip right behind our house. anyone here in the mining industry? have googled to try to find out how they mine, what, if any, chemicals might be used. I know it's really smelly sometimes in our backyard. but maybe that's just what wind and dust smell like!
I've thought of sending a soil sample to our country extension, and will do that.
anyone have any firsthand knowledge of clay mining? or any ideas for finding out what they are doing?
seems like they are just stripping the land.
