I'm just pooped out and we aren't done yet!!! My boys and I are painting my 10yo ds' room today. We are letting the first coat dry, then will start on the
2nd coat. The paint is much darker than the previous paint, so it won't take much of a 2nd coat, thankfully!!!
Tomorrow, we will paint the trim and doors in there. I hate doing trim work. I think I'll let my boys tape off the bottom trim and then paint that themselves while I do the high work.
I think we are gonna paint the kitchen next week. We've got a bunch of the same color paint left over from the last time we painted the kitchen, so we'll paint it the same color. That should make it a quiker job. Taping off to paint the trim, painting the trim and then touching up the white paint on my cabinets will be the hardest things to do with the kitchen paint job.
Did I mention that I hate painting???LOL I like decluttering and organizing and even just regular cleaning, but hate, hate, hate painting!
