Now we live in Belgium, French becomes much more important to us then when we lived in the Netherlands. So we want dd learn to read typical French children Literature.

My problem is, that besides Jules Verne and 'Sans famille' , I don't know typical French childrens literature. Can you help me to find some authors or titles?
I find a lot translated books at amazon.fr but that's not what I'm looking for.
I'm convinced French has beautifull children literature...

I know, I'm definetely not bilingual, but this board seems to me a good place to ask this question.
