I am so often disappointed by "green" products. Don't throw tomatoes but I find 7th Generation stuff really mediocre. I dislike conventional products because they smell so horrible. I like some Method stuff but I don't know if it is really less toxic than reg. brands.

Give me the scoop. I need floor cleaner, scouring powder, and bathroom/countertop cleaner.

I like the bathroom cleaner. I used to use their powdered laundry soap and like it too--I have to used liquid now, so I switched brands. I also have used their dishwasher soap (I'm pretty sure it was Bio-Kleen) and was happy with that.

Another cleaner I like is Earth Friendly Products Creamy Cleanser. It is like Soft Scrub. It is the only thing that gets my glasstop stove really clean, and is much nicer to my skin than the alternatives.

I love the all purpose cleaner. I keep a spray bottle of it mixed up on my counter to wipe down the kitchen counters and table each day. I also used their laundry detergent and like that. I prefer their liquid instead of the powder. I love the smell of their stuff. Nice light citrus scent. I also like their glass cleaner and bathroom scrub. The only thing I really didn't like was the dishwasher powder, but I prefer liquid. I know they just came out with a dishwasher liquid and I plan to try that next time I need some.

Be super careful with the natural liquid dish detergents. I've tried some and they just put a nice white skin of junk all over the dishes. It takes the regular stuff a long time to get it all off. :( I gave up on the natural dish detergent for the dishwasher. I try to use natural stuff in other areas, though.

Oh, and oxyclean in the dishwasher? Not so much.

I had a bad experience with the BioClean dishwasher soap (powder kind). The best stuff I have found is Ecover (Whole Foods carries) and Shacklee (not cheap!).

Have not found a suitable dishwasher detergent in the "green" line, nor has any member of my food cooperative. I use BioKleen All Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser as a dish soap (not the same as the spray cleaner which is less money and is, probably, a diluted version of what I use). I have tried BioKleen Soy Cleaner (I think they're the ones who made it) for the toilet and was not too pleased. Prefer white vinegar + water and a little Citra-Solv for the toilet and as a general purpose spray cleaner for countertops and floors.

I like Bon Ami as a scouring powder, or I just use plain baking soda. And, I'm thrilled with Seventh Gen's Liquid Laundry Soap w/ Eucaplytus and Lavender. Love the clean scent.

I use quite a few BiOKleen products and am pleased with them all. I use the all-purpose cleaner for, well, many purposes.;) I use BiOKleen laundry powder, too. It definitely doesn't make the work clothes spiffy, but nothing really will when you own a dairy farm. I don't own a dishwasher, so I can't speak to their dishwashing detergent.
