I have found a few different calculators online - and the GPA comes out slightly differently (within .05 points, but still...) and I want to choose one and stick with it!
TIA.

weird...the only time I would think it would depend would be if you are giving different points for things like Honors or AP classes.
But typically:
A=4
B=3
C=2
so then you add the points from each subject, divide by the number of classes, and wahlah :)

One that I used differentiated this way - 93+ = 4.0, 90-92 = 3.75, 87-89 = 3.25, etc. Calculated in this way, my daughters GPA was slightly (.05) lower than the way you mentioned. I want this to be easy but I also want it to be accurate - and I have no idea if it matters!

It is my understanding that the GPA is calculated on A/B/C grades rather than A/A-/B+/B/B-/C+ etc.
Of course, they then muddy the waters by assigning a different numeric value for an A depending on whether the course is honors or not.
