German question

I'm toying with moving to Learnables for German for my son for 9th grade--we've used Rosetta Stone off and on for a couple of years, but it doesn't seem structured enough to me (or I haven't figured out the structure)--just seems to complicated for one parent and one student.

Anyone have any recommendations/thoughts?

We have had an excellent experience with OSU's German online! Quite easy to do for the parent and it covers writing, listening, speaking with a weekly call to a native speaker and much more. Well worth it!
