If any of you were wondering how this CD and teacher's guide is. I give them 2 thumbs up! The songs are familiar enough that folks with the very slightest opera knowledge would recognize nearly half of them, and My kiddos (7 and under) love dancing around to them. The teacher's guide is terrif!

If got it in English, but you can get them in the original languages, too.

Anyway, wanted to post if someone was interested, but unsure.

I also have this CD, and my kids have enjoyed it as well. My oldest told me one day in the car he wanted to listen to the "yelling CD." :001_huh: I finally figured out what he was talking about!

I think this is the one we own...we love ours. It has the Barber of Seville in English and the kids get such a kick out of it. I like being able to know what the song is really about.

We have the CD and have loved it! We also have the Pavarotti "Opera Made Easy" CD that the boys love to listen to (although it's not in English). DS7 especially *adores* opera.

Too funny - was just at the library looking at kids CD's today and ran across it. I couldn't remember if it was the same one, but got it anyway, and sure enough! :)

My dc LOVE this cd. They get funny looks from people when they start singing something from Figaro in public places - like little kids can't like the classics? :001_huh: I'd also recommend the Beethoven's Wig cd's for something similar (Rainbow Resource has them, and many libraries).
