Seattle Heat Wave... Eliana?

Doesn't she have a hard time with high temps? The forecast this weekend is for high 80's to low 90's? Just worried about her.

So far not so bad. It is in the low 60's but it is starting to clear up. I think it will be a couple of days before the real high temperatures (if the weather doesn't change before then). We usually get some high temperature days but it has been so cool that the difference kind of shocks you! Hopefully she has a fan/or even an A.C. to help her out. Otherwise - we camp out in our basement on really hot days!

This morning was cool and cloudy, but it's clear and warmer now. I think tomorrow and Saturday are supposed to be the hot days here. (I live not TOO far from Seattle)

We have no air conditioning, cuz we mostly don't need it. But some hot August (usually)days it gets to 85 degrees inside our house! Ugggghh!

I don't know her yet, but I hope Eliana is OK too.

Oh, you are so sweet!

I am okay - this was our first test of the central air system of our new house, and it was such a relief that everything went so well! It was a little scary having to test it out on Shabbos - when we wouldn't be able to adjsut anything!

Before we bought this house (in October!!), I was confined to the master bedroom when the temps went up b/c that was the only room with an air conditioner - it was such luxury to have the run of the whole house! ..I did have to miss the bar mizvah of a friend's son, but I haven't been well enough lately to have made the walk anyway, so I can't blame it on the heat.

Thank you for thinking of me, Jenny! It has been a long couple of weeks, and your kindness has brightened my day!
