Has anyone read this book http://www.amazon.com/Mothers-Rule-Life-Bring-Order/dp/1928832415/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1210859574&sr=8-1 ? I have it and I read it a few years ago but never really did anything with it. It is like a gentler, Catholic MOTH, I think. Now that we're expecting #4 I feel like I really need to get my home and schedule in better working order (early nesting maybe? or just panic, I'm not sure). I'd love to hear from someone who has read this and created their own rule.

I've also been reading It's All Too Much http://www.amazon.com/Its-All-Too-Much-Living/dp/0743292650/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1210860039&sr=1-1 by Peter Walsh. My house isn't cluttered but I do have 3 young kids in 1400 sq. feet. I'm planning on going through the house REALLY asking "Do we need to keep this?".

I'm on the same wave length. Summer is when I try to organize the house. I read A Mother's Rule of Life a couple years ago too and I used to occasionally go to her website too. I feel the need to re-read it.

The book It's All Too Much looks like something I'd like to read. I am such a clutter bug and so is my husband and of course the children have taken on our bad habits. I really need a thorough purging!

I am already thinking about fall and how I want things to run more smoothly. Some things are good, but there are still a lot of things that I want to have a SET time that I always mop the kitchen floor or go to the grocery store. I know that is what works best, but my DH is in and out very irregularly (mostly out) so I am trying to figure out the best way to do all of these things and not be running around like a crazy person.

Also, the best laid plans can go awry so easily if guests pop into town or someone gets sick and then I feel like it takes a couple weeks to get back on track!

I bought it for my wife a few months ago.

Things have really improved since she started implementing it.

I'd recommend it.
