French pen pal?

I haven't really researched this yet, but it always seems that the WTM boards have the best information. Does anyone have any suggestions re: how to go about getting French pen pals for my dds 9 and 8? I know snail mail is getting kind of obsolete...my girls are not on Facebook and I don't intend to put them on there. Does anyone actually do the old-fashioned pen pal thing anymore?

My kids are part of International Pen Friends (http://usa.ipfpenfriends.com/). They have always said that they speak English and French and gotten mostly English penpals as well as a few French ones. If you wanted more French penpals you could say that you only speak French.

I should also mention that all the French penpals my kids have are from France and French is their first language. That may or may not be what you want.
