What else do you *need* to do Trail Guides?

On the geomatters website, there is a big list of related products. For those of you who have used the Trail Guides, what resources do you think are necessary?

The only necessary thing is the atlas that they recommend.

The notebooking pages are very very nice. I would not attempt Trail Guide with out them, but all the information is in the manual. The notebooking pages just make the notebooks much easier to put together.
