I've been wanting to ask this for awhile. The name "Rhonda" didn't really exist before the 1900's. So, if you are named "Rhonda", what year were you born? What's the oldest person you ever met with the name? I don't think I need to do a poll, because there aren't THAT many of us. :D

I was born in 1967. I've never met anyone much older than me with the name.

I've met a few Rhondas but you're right, they were born around the time you were. But then, I haven't met anyone born before 1900!

A friend from elementary/middle school had a mom named Rhonda. Her mom was probably born in the late '40s early '50s. What makes this so memorable is my friend always spelled my name Rhobin. :D

Check out your name on The Baby Name Wizard. It shows the popularity of names throughout the ages. Have fun.

This reply is not letting me link to the webpage so here is the address: http://www.babynamewizard.com/voyager#prefix=RHONDA&ms=false&sw=f&exact=false

My mum was born in 1958. The "Rhonda" part she can deal with, it's her middle name, "Delia" that she grinds her teeth over!
