Ok, rash fans, internet pseudo-doctors and experienced mommies.... It's time to play (altogether now! ) Name That Rash!!

I can't figure another way to show you a picture so here is a link to my blog (http://www.adrielhenderson.com/familyblog/index.html). If dh finds out I put this on the blog he will be mortified so it is coming down after tonight. The pics aren't great but you can click on them and enlarge them a bit to get the basic idea.

basically it is red slightly raised spots. They are small but not lacy like some other rashes. It is now in her diaper area down to her knees and up to her belly button.

That's all I've got - please tell me if this is just diaper rash gone crazy or if I really have to drag her to the dr.

Just a guess.. but did she recently get a chicken pox vaccination?

My kids always get a small rash, it looks similar, but NEVER that bad...

Any fever? How long has she had it?

no vaccines in the last 6 months. Might have been a Low fever for about 24 hours 10 days ago. I didn't actually take her temp and it could have just been to many blankets at night.

although it's a little difficult to tell from the pics. If it has little blisters, it could be chicken pox.

Other than that, I have no ideas.

no blisters. It doesn't even seem to bother her which is why I haven't brought her in yet, but it is spreading. Do the pox change over time or do they pretty much start as blisters? Maybe it is just a bacterial rash gone crazy.

I have decided it is either an irritation to something (I have no idea what) or 5th disease. Either way, it is no big deal and on with life we go. I will give her a nice bath in the morning with dye/perfume free baby soap to wash off any detergents or whatever might be bothering her and then let it go.
