Yep, can't send him email, unless you go through an Admin to do so. Maybe we should as Admin to inquire as to his well being on behalf of us?
I did send him a PM, but I don't know if he gets email notification of such things, so I don't know if he'll see it before he comes back here (assuming hopefully that all is well).

I have read that phone lines are down, and power lines also. It may be a while before they have both up to all the areas.

I'm bumping this back up for more prayers for Volty. Laura, I am glad you are OK. I wonder when the power lines and such will be up and running. It is hard to comprehend the loss from here in my safe office. I'm thinking of donating some money to help out. Anyone have an organization in mind that would be helping out there.

I just heard from a friend in China yesterday that phone/internet are still down around Chengdu.

There was an NPR crew in Chengdu when the earthquake hit, they have been posting daily at NPR: Chengu Diary (http://www.npr.org/blogs/chengdu/).

Hoping and praying that Volty and his family are safe and well.
