I know they sell it by the bag. I know because fil used to work there & make fun of people who bought it. He thought it was such a waste.

Generally, I'd agree. But I'm pg. And Sonic ice is soooooo good. How will I ever convince dh that I really, really want him to bring a bag home?

And if I do, can I split it into baggies & save it? Or will it refreeze into ordinary ice?

I'm actually glad they're charging for water now, because I'd feel less like a homeless person to go & order just water. YUM. In fact...forget the water. I just want the ice. :D

(You know it's bad when you see an ice truck pulled up to a Sonic stall, think for a second that they're getting a delivery, & wonder about pulling over to talk to the ice man himself.)

Oh, how I LOVE Sonic ice! Call DH and tell him to get you a bag - and get one for me, too. It's the little things that can make us smile.

Now, you aren't supposed to crunch ice, but I can't help it when I have Sonic ice. :D

I would *think* as long as you work quickly you could rebag into smaller bags. I mean, it just doesn't sound like it would be that big of a deal. But..what do I know? :p

You know, they say if you're craving ice while pg (other than for the chilliness of it), it's a sign you might be anemic. :-)

Really? Ice is a pretty standard pg thing for me, but my blood's always been fine.

Otoh, do you know you think up more stuff to be wrong w/ me than anybody? LOL! Thank goodness I just got my blood tests back, or I might be debating whether or not to call mw. ;) :lol:
