Does anyone have any suggestions for a book on Swiss history in German at about the middle school level?

TIA

This book by "Migros" is not bad. I think it is out of print - at least in French. I got mine (in French) from a Salvation Army type place.

Abenteuer Schweiz (http://www.piazza.ch/inserat/2416882/treichler_abenteuer_schweiz.html) by Treichler

It's like the History of the US by Joy Hakim picture-wise (reproductions of all kinds of old pictures, etc). Can't compare the text though, as I haven't read it that carefully.

You know, you might also be interested in the ones they use for the Matu...though it doesn't just cover Swiss history...

In French, what they use is not at such a difficult level.

Unhappily, the pages for the matu between French and German are not set up the same, so I can't see the exact place easily. On the French page, it is under the bibliography.

Very cool, thank you. Bookmarking this one. I'm going to have to browse through it repeatedly.

The literature lists (for several languages) are entertaining.
