Hi Melissa and Lori! I am in MS as well...in the Delta. I'm kind of in the middle of you guys...Melissa is right under Memphis and Lori is close to Jackson. Right? I'm in the middle of nowhere! :) Nice to "meet" ya!

Somehow I completely did not see that! I was thinking of another "M" city right on the outskirts of Jackson. So, here we all are: close and yet so far away. :)

Olive Branch is a podunk town right outside of Memphis.

We're in the North too! Oxford is home to Ole Miss; about 1.5 hrs south of Memphis.

I'm right outside of Memphis also. I travel to Southhaven often to see my relatives. I had submitted the same post on the other MS thread a few months back but forgot my password recently so I had to re-register and now have a different name. I have been a long time lurker til now.:D

We are currently on the MS Gulfcoast...will be moving to Alaska in June.

We're in Hattiesburg, MS. We have 6 children (ages 12, 10, 9, 7, 5, & 2) and homeschool the oldest three. The youngest 2 are enrolled in a preschool/kindergarten that we own/operate. The middle one goes to a local Christian school. We are teaching the Spalding Method for reading/spelling/writing; Saxon Math; Logos School's latin; Veritas Press History; A Beka science & Bible; our 7th grader is in Veritas Press's online scholars program taking the Omnibus I primary & secondary as well as going through The Fallacy Detective.
