Your outpouring of kindness overwhelms me!

So many of you left such kind messages for me, sharing my sorrow at the loss of my kitty, Ears. Thank you, each of you.

Today, on my way home from church, I stopped the car and walked across the road to take a picture of a snow-covered trout stream. I've posted it as a way to say thank you--to share the beauty of my world with all of you.

He was a beautiful cat and lucky to have you. I don't know if it's hormones (I'm pregnant) or that I know how deeply we can love an animal and I miss my old dawg - but the pictures of that BEAUTIFUL cat have me all teared up. Thanks for the info on the trout stream - I had no idea what a perfect balance it had to have.

Keep in mind that I have only seen snow falling out of the sky twice in my life, and only walked in snow on the ground a handful of times. So it's always amazing to me to see pictures like yours, and imagine what it would be like to live in a place with so much snow every winter!

And your cats look like sweeties. RIP, Ears.
