The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy read by Rob Inglis are big, big favorites here.

There is a dramatization of the Narnia series that is well done.

We love Harry Potter, but that's a personal choice. Jim Dale has a great voice for audio.

Eragon and Eldest.

King Arthur (can't remember the exact title we enjoyed).

Treasure Island.

War of the Worlds.

Animal Farm.

Around the World in 80 Days read by Jim Dale is a winner.

I think Airborne by Kenneth Oppel (can't remember who is reading it) would also appeal to these ages.

OK, anything read by Jim Dale has to be a winner! ;)

Go to Audible and check out their young adult titles. You can hear samples and see reviews others have left. What kind of books do they like?

Although my dh is beginning to grumble about my going to bed with Rob Inglais every night for the last year. :D
